Meeting about Destination Imagination

September 15, 2012

Come to an informational meeting about Destination Imagination for all students and parents.

Wednesday, October 3 at 7 pm

in the Sacajawea Middle School cafeteria.

Destination Imagination is an educational program, in which student teams solve open-ended challenges and present their solutions at tournaments. The challenges integrate science, technology, cultural studies and the arts. The teams use research, team building, engineering, technical, theatrical design, construction, time management and budgeting skills to devise original solutions. Participants gain more than just basic knowledge and skills—they learn to work as a team, let loose their imaginations and take unique approaches to problem solving.  Learn more about DI here.

Come to our meeting if you are interested in learning more about Destination Imagination and how you may be able to participate on a DI team this year.  Anyone interested in learning more about becoming a team manager should also come.
