Be a Facilitator

October 4, 2012

Coming to Bozeman
Train to be a Facilitator of SENG Model Parent Groups

SENG Model Parent Groups (SMPGs) bring together 10 to 20 interested parents of gifted children to discuss such topics as motivation, discipline, stress management, and peer relationships using A Parent’s Guide to Gifted Children, the book around which the sessions are organized. The groups meet weekly for 8-10 weeks.

You can learn how to co-facilitate a parent group, which is not about giving expert advice but rather about providing a non-judgmental and nurturing atmosphere.

Montana AGATE (Association for Gifted and Talented Education) is subsidizing this training class, hence the extremely low price.  Plus, if you are one of the first 20 people to sign up, you save $50.  Bring a friend from the same town (so you can start a SMPG and co-facilitate it) and save another $50.
